| The Oval-shaped Bore____________________________________ |
| Hitachi's dedication to improving the quality of patient care led to a new innovation in MRI scanning - Oval Technology. As patient lies down for a MRI scan, their body assumes an oval shape hence the oval-shaped bore has expanded to 74cm in the horizontal direction to pursure comfortable examination environment. |

| WIT (Workflow Integrated Technology)________________________ |
| The dockable "WIT Mobile Table" allow patients to be comfortable docked to the system until it is their turn to be scanned. The table is dockable not only from a front direction but also from an oblique direction. |
| The design has improved its usability and compactness of the scan room layout. |
| It also has a horizontally moveable arm board that can either protect patient during movement or accommodate those connected to IVs. |

| WIT RF Coil System_______________________________________ |
| ECHELON OVAL is mounted with the WIT RF coil system, which has realised both a hogh-sensitivity receiver coil and workflow. The Spine coil, which fits into the tabletop can be easily attached to and detached from the tabletop, is cable-less. The back side can be wrapped around the Torso coil making abdominal imaging highly sensitive. |

| WIT Monitor____________________________________________ |
| ECHELON OVAL has incorporated "WIT Monitor", a liquid-crystal monitor on the gantry front that quickly and accurately display patient information, coil status and gating display. This saves valuable time on scanning preparation since all the necessary information needed to proceed is displayed on the monitor. |
